Surface grinding machine is a kind of high efficiency grinding machine with grinding wheel end face grinding workpiece, mainly used for grinding parts made of steel, iron, ceramics and non-ferrous metals, suitable for batch production use.

1、Strengthen the rigidity of the sheet workpiece with temporary measures
The use of epoxy resin bonding agent, the sheet workpiece in the free state to a flat plate. The flat plate together with the sheet is put on the magnetic suction cup. After smoothing one end of the sheet, the sheet is removed from the flat plate, and the smoothed side is placed on the magnetic suction cup, and then the other end of the sheet is ground. Since the epoxy resin is fluid before it hardens, it fills the gap between the sheet workpiece and the flat plate. When the epoxy resin hardens, the workpiece and the flat plate are bonded together as a single unit, thus greatly enhancing the rigidity of the workpiece. Under magnetic attraction, the sheet workpiece will not produce clamping deformation, which creates conditions for grinding a flat plane. Can also be used instead of epoxy resin thick grease to fill the gap between the thin workpiece and the magnetic suction cup, to enhance the rigidity of the workpiece, can also receive good results.
2、Mechanical clamping mode
The use of surface grinding machine attachments in the flat jaw pliers will be thin pieces of workpiece through the magnetic table to the small flat jaw pliers suction, due to the flat jaw pliers have a certain height, therefore, the jaws by the magnetic force is small. Adopt the method of gradually reducing the amount of feed to grind a plane of the sheet workpiece and then remove it, then put the ground plane on the magnetic table, and then grind another plane of the sheet workpiece, and repeat the grinding several times, the flatness of the two planes to meet the requirements.
3、Vacuum clamping method
The use of atmospheric pressure clamping sheet workpiece for grinding. The working principle is: the clamp is equipped with a rubber sealing ring, the sheet workpiece on the rubber sealing ring, so that the workpiece and the clamp to form a sealed cavity between the specific. With a vacuum pump to the chamber air from the pumping holes out, this time the workpiece is clamped. As the clamping force is small, the grinding process can be carried out by the circumferential grinding method. When grinding one end of the sheet workpiece plane, grinding the other end of the sheet workpiece plane, can be used in the above way, can also get satisfactory results.
4、Pad elastic gasket clamping mode
When grinding the above sheet workpiece on the surface grinder, the elastic clamping mechanism is used to realize positioning and clamping of the sheet workpiece in the free state. Between the workpiece and the magnetic table, there is a layer of 0.5mm thick rubber. When the workpiece is subjected to magnetic attraction, the rubber is compressed and the elastic deformation becomes smaller, so that the workpiece can be ground out to a flat plane. Repeatedly grinding several times, can meet the processing accuracy requirements.
